Fair, reasonable rules for using Adolf Habits

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Adolf Habits ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Adolf Habits is a habit tracking tool that helps users build and maintain daily habits. The Service includes a free plan with basic features and a paid Premium plan with additional features.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Free and Premium Plans

Free Plan: The free plan includes up to 3 active habits, basic statistics, streak tracking, and a monthly calendar view. No credit card is required.

Premium Plan: The Premium plan costs $4.99/month and includes unlimited habits, advanced analytics, custom reminders, CSV export, dark mode, and priority support. Payment is processed through a secure third-party payment processor.

5. Billing and Cancellation

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you'll continue to have Premium access until then. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time, but you can request a refund within 7 days of a new charge if you haven't used the premium features.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

7. Intellectual Property

The Adolf Habits name, logo, website design, and software code are our intellectual property. The habit data you enter into the Service belongs to you — we don't claim ownership over your personal data or habit history.

8. User Data

You retain full ownership of your data. You can export your data (Premium feature) or delete your account and all associated data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep Adolf Habits available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may schedule maintenance, and occasionally there may be outages beyond our control. We'll do our best to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

10. Limitation of Liability

Adolf Habits is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service. This is a tool to help you build habits — it doesn't guarantee results. Your success depends on your own effort and consistency.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If we do, we'll notify you by email with the reason. You can also terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings.

12. Changes to Terms

If we make significant changes to these Terms, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
